Our head office and finished leather distribution warehouse is based in Thirsk, Yorkshire. We also have hide and skin collection depots in Langholm (Scotland), Carno (Wales), Kenilworth (in the Midlands) and Cullompton (in the South West). Our knowledge and contacts ensure our clients receive quality materials with complete traceability.
The domestic material from the UK and Ireland is suited to both double face and nappa production at different times of the season. The quality is high and conditions on the farm and in the countryside do not give the problems associated with material from drier climates.
We can supply material either drum salted, or hand salted, and skins can be machine shorn or wool on, as required. Shipment is normally made in loads of between 4,000 and 7,000 pieces, depending on weight and size, although we can send smaller quantities or mixed loads. Skins are shipped on strapped and labelled pallets. This means that ease of handling and identification is guaranteed and allows skins to be sent to any location safely.

UK Domestic Hides are suitable for a wide range of uses and in particular are well suited to upholstery, shoe leather and the automotive industry's requirements.
We supply all types of salted hides in any number from single hides to multi container contracts. Our quality hides are classified in weight ranges which follow the normal trade practice, but these can be altered to suit the customer's requirements. Hides can be selected and prepared in a manner suitable for their intended purpose and can be shipped anywhere in the world.
In addition to sales of quality salted hides, we can supply part processed material finished to various levels of tanning. As part of the service which we provide to our suppliers we are pleased to manage or handle abattoir hide production as part of our ongoing commitment to excellence from abattoir to tanner.
